The Power Of Self-Love

The Power Of Self-Love

Love is the Greatest Gift.

We are created by the Creator with love, to love, and are commanded to “love each other.” In 1 Corinthians 13:13, it says, “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” This follows Paul’s beautiful and well-known description of true, unconditional (agape) love. There are many reasons why love is considered the greatest.

“Love, along with faith and hope, is a gift that lasts forever. The eternal nature of faith, hope, and love makes them greater than all other spiritual gifts. Of the three ‘forever gifts,’ love is the greatest.” – gotquestions.org

Love has no beginning and no end. This is the love we are invited into.

Why is Love the Key to a Healthy Life?

As we discussed earlier, the absence of love leads to imbalance. Love is fundamental to our being; it is a necessary and beautiful emotion. Learning to navigate through situations like separation, divorce, and loss is crucial for maintaining or regaining our balance.

Learning to love ourselves and others, especially during difficult times, is a challenge. To achieve this, we must first know ourselves—our identity, values, talents, beliefs, and sense of belonging. We need to understand that we are enough, that we are each a complete work of art. By adopting this mind-set, we create a new, strong, and healthy self-image, which then radiates outward. When we value and love ourselves, others will too.

As we become grounded in our sense of self-worth, our confidence grows, and we begin to attract people who add value and help us grow. Changing our way of thinking allows healing to take place. We become more aware of our emotions, embracing them with patience and kindness. This mind-set manifests health, love, light, wisdom, abundance, and all that we desire.

Low vibration energy, which is dark and heavy, is often associated with intense emotions like suffering, fear, and anger. Over time, this energy can cause mental and physical harm to our bodies.

When we uplift our souls daily, we increase our energy levels and vibrate at a higher frequency, which positively impacts our physical health, organs, and systems. This higher frequency unleashes healing across our spiritual, emotional, and physical being. Our souls rejoice at this higher frequency, filling each cell and neuron with vitality, helping them flourish and heal. We can then spread happiness and healing to those around us. This is what happens when we are filled with love!

Why is it Important to Love Ourselves?

Despite being a crucial skill, loving ourselves is not something we are typically taught—in school or at home. Isn’t that interesting?

Love is not a subject taught in schools (though sex education is), nor is it commonly discussed or learned through our upbringing. Yet love is central to most religions, especially Christianity, where it is fundamental, though often overlooked today. This leaves a significant gap, particularly for women, in learning how to love themselves.

An interesting phenomenon occurs when mothers give birth. They are usually overwhelmed with an ocean of love, joy, and an instinct to protect their baby. This love comes naturally; it’s not something they have to learn. Mothers often put their children first, followed by their partner, and forget to care for themselves, neglecting their own needs.

Women are naturally wired to nurture and care for others, but this is not a one-way street, and it often comes at a price. Neglecting to care for and love ourselves can lead to depression, burnout, and serious illness because, as beings, we need balance and harmony to function at our best.

When we learn to accept ourselves as the beautiful, love-deserving beings we were created to be, and when we practice self-love and self-respect—honouring our achievements, setting healthy boundaries, speaking up for ourselves—others start to notice.

This is how we show self-love to the world: by showing who we really are and why we matter.

I want to tell you that all this is possible—you can do it too.

There was a time when I was far from where I am now, and my life wasn’t easy. I struggled with my relationships, my business, and life in general until I realized something had to change—and that something was me.

Was I aware that I didn’t love myself? Not at all. The thought never even crossed my mind until I realized that the absence of self-love was the root of all my troubles. I needed to embark on a journey of self-development. I learned that self-love was the key to my inner healing and personal growth. This knowledge saved me, and today I’m here to share what I’ve learned and experienced with you. I’ve developed a program to help women who, like me, need help. I’ve dedicated this program to my mother, who was also one of us.

And I turn this program to an E-Course The Power of Self-Love. It is an easy to go through on your own pace and do it regularly, when you need a top up.

I hope you will love the course and looking to hear your feedback.
